The TWU Local 100/ MTA NYCT Childcare Fund was created through our collective bargaining process during the 2002 Contract Negotiations. It is an employer funded, jointly administered fund administered by TWU Local 100 and MTA NYCT. The fund is overseen by a Director and 4 board trustees, 2 from MTA and 2 from TWU Local 100.
Our mission is to increase our members’ accessibility to high quality, affordable childcare, youth services and information. The fund works to offer a variety of programs and services for fund-eligible TWU Local 100 members that will meet their childcare needs. The TWU Local 100/MTA NYCT Childcare Fund is dedicated to assisting parents in integrating their work and family responsibilities.
